Your notes should be readable only by you. The server stores ciphertext and a login verifier, and nothing more — it is architecturally unable to read your content.

Scrinium runs as a single self-contained app with no required cloud account. Import from Markdown and export plaintext or encrypted backups — your notes are yours to move.
Paid tiers fund the hosted sync and attachments that genuinely cost money — never the number of notes you can keep. Free is unlimited, forever.
Zero-knowledge has real consequences: if you lose your password and your recovery key, your data is unrecoverable — there is no company-side reset. And zero-knowledge protects your notes from the server, not from malware on your own device. We think those trade-offs are worth it, but we'd rather tell you than bury the caveats.
