Yes. The server stores ciphertext and an SRP verifier only. Your password never leaves your browser, and the plaintext exists only in memory while you edit. The server is architecturally unable to read your notes.
The free tier is unlimited — unlimited notes, encrypted sync, and unlimited devices. Pro ($5/mo) and Supporter ($10/mo) add advanced features, not limits.
We support Markdown import and plaintext or encrypted export, so your notes are never locked in.
When you create a vault you get a recovery key that can decrypt your Account Key independently of your password. If you lose both the password and the recovery key, your notes are unrecoverable — by design.
Yes. Scrinium runs as a single self-contained app with no required cloud account. Use the local storage backend and your notes never leave your machine.
Pro adds attachments, version history, backlinks, a graph view, templates, math, and diagrams. Supporter adds a supporter badge and helps fund the project. Neither plan limits how many notes you can keep.
